The number of signatories to the responsible investment Principle has increased year by year. Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) is an international network dedicated to understanding the Investment impact of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors and supporting their signatories to include these factors in their investments and decision-making. The guidelines were announced on the New York Stock Exchange in April 2006. Since then, the number of signatories has grown from 100 to more than 2,600, with total assets under management reaching $89tn, of which more than $20tn is invested in related ESG investments.
